During the 1980s, all his movies were blockbusters, running for years and the songs were also well appreciated. He normally serves as, but not limited to director, actor, songwriter, art director, production manager and playback singer. He gained popularity through his one-of-a-kind style of acting. Rajendar started off in the Kollywood industry making successful films which included him as an actor, playback singer, dancer and scriptwriter. His wife has served as the producer for some of his films, such as Kadhal Azhivathillai (2002). They have two sons, Silambarasan and Kuralarasan, and one daughter, Ilakiya. Rajendar is married to former actress Usha Rajendar.

The album gets the much needed kick with a stylish mass number sung by T.Rajendher and Suchitra. Blaaze makes no mistakes in his Rap portion with amazing poise and energy levels. The composer succeeds in bringing a novel sound with an essential R & B flavor.
The trance like beats are extremely catchy and enjoyable to hear. Singers: Kuralarasan, Shruti Hassan, Blaazeįunkiness gets a new meaning with this conversational duet which is amazingly presented by Kuralarasan and lower octave voice of Shruti Hassan. However, it is the presence of Sitar in the first interlude which gives the song a new dimension altogether. The nadaswaram attempts to be at its funkiest best and has a compelling duel with lead guitar. The homecoming time occurs with a folksy number sung by Silambarasan himself comprising of peppy beats and lilting guitar. All in all, this song grows slowly on the listener! The song slowly transforms to contemporary style with mild Hip-Hop beats and trance mode. The composer makes effective usage of Far East horns and instruments to create a fresh feel. The interesting album begins with an earthly solo sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja which is topped with grand piano, mild treble thereby creating a soulful ambience. This is the debut album of T.R.Kuralarasan.
